I am SO happy you’re here!

My name is Yassie Kiara and I’m an artist with a focused passion for storytelling through theatrical arts. I am a singer, dancer, and actor with experience and interest in various roles behind the table. I am currently a senior achieving my BFA in Music Theater with a dance minor from the Viterbo Conservatory for the Performing Arts.

I am originally from Washington State but I grew up in Austin TX so I consider myself a Southern girl. I’ve had the pleasure of working at ZACH Theatre in Austin as a teaching artist for the past three years and I share my love of performance with my passion for educating, choreographing, and directing. I enjoy being involved in meaningful projects that make audiences engage in conversation beyond the theater, explore uncomfortable topics, or invoke social change. However, I am also excited by TYA shows or a fun piece.

When I am not performing, you can find me soaking up the sun, painting, enjoying good food, traveling, or snuggling with my cat.
